A reporter from Beiqing Daily recently learned from the Municipal Health Supervision Institute that in response to the hygiene conditions of accommodation places such as express hotels, especially the hygiene quality of public supplies and utensils, the Municipal Health Supervision Institute will soon launch a one month special inspection, including whether there are corresponding records for the cleaning of cotton fabrics such as bed sheets and towels, and whether to request cleaning and disinfection records from the washing units. At the same time, in order to ensure that the cotton fabrics sent for washing meet relevant requirements, the Municipal Health Supervision Bureau requires all express hotels to equip PH test strips to test related cotton fabrics and other items.
It is reported that there are currently more than 2000 registered express hotels in this city, and last year's special inspection covered about 50% of the hotels. The number of special action supervision and inspection households this year will increase again on the basis of last year, not less than 60% of all express hotels. Especially for units that were not covered or had unsatisfactory inspection results during last year's inspection.
It is reported that the focus of the inspection will be on the hygiene conditions of accommodation venues such as express hotels, especially the hygiene quality of public goods and appliances. Whether the express hotel has established a hygiene management file, and whether the file includes the cleaning, disinfection, replacement, and inspection of customer supplies and utensils. Whether hygiene testing has been conducted in accordance with regulations, and whether the test results have been prominently displayed in public places. Is there any reuse of disposable items. Have cleaning, disinfection, sanitation, washing and other facilities and equipment, as well as public restrooms, been set up in accordance with regulations that are suitable for its business scale and project.
In addition, in response to recent media reports that some express hotels have sent out cotton fabrics for washing, and that washing companies have used caustic soda to mix detergents, resulting in excessive pH values of cotton fabrics, the relevant person in charge of the municipal health supervision stated that due to the lack of independent washing ability, most express hotels currently use the method of sending out for washing to complete cotton fabric washing. Therefore, this inspection will focus on checking whether the cotton fabrics have been sent for cleaning and whether there are records of item washing and receiving, and whether the washing unit has requested records of item cleaning and disinfection. Self cleaning or external cleaning requires selecting the corresponding label when reporting the sampling results on the platform, in order to facilitate relevant departments' statistical investigation.
To ensure that the cotton fabrics sent for washing meet relevant requirements, the Municipal Health Supervision Bureau requires all express hotels to submit self inspection reports on the use of sanitary products, equip them with pH test strips, and train employees to use them reasonably. Relevant cotton fabrics and other items should be tested. At the same time, the usage of hygiene products is calculated based on the occupancy rate of the express hotel, and compared with the cleaning and disinfection documents to prevent situations where washing is not provided or not provided enough.
